Caliber 562 sits in examples from 1962 and 1963, while caliber 565 is present by 1967. That sequence is useful when judging whether the movement and stated year make sense together, although it does not prove that a particular movement and case left the factory together.

Applied indices, an applied Omega logo and dauphine-style hands give the dial enough depth to remain legible without making the watch ornate. A beads of rice bracelet is known on both 1963 and 1967 examples, but its presence alone does not establish that it has remained with the watch since sale. Without supporting documentation, the bracelet's history is unknown.

Dial damage is the costliest recurring fault. Silver sunburst surfaces can develop dense stardust spotting, while the dauphine-style hands may show oxidation, pitting and corrosion. A clean caliber 565 example from 1967 deserves a premium over a heavily spotted caliber 562 watch when case condition is comparable, but the caliber alone cannot rescue a damaged dial. Buy the cleaner watch, not the more emphatic ageing story.
