Dial and Hands
The matte black dial provides a striking background for the luminous hour markers, which have aged to a highly attractive creamy patina. Printed text remains crisp and legible throughout the display. Under macro observation, some light spotting and dust are visible on the dial surface, adding honest character to the watch. The hands feature luminous material that matches the appealing patina of the indices, while their metal frames show minor oxidation and aging consistent with the passage of time.
Case and Crystal
The 38mm stainless steel case displays the distinctive geometry of the era. The surfaces exhibit moderate scratches and scuffs throughout, consistent with age and use, while the edges show some softening from wear. The watch features a black bezel insert that shows noticeable scratches and wear, with scuffs and dings present on the metal bezel rim. The luminous pip at the 12 o'clock position appears degraded or missing. The crown is signed with the Omega logo and shows scratches and wear on both its face and knurling. Above the dial, the flat crystal appears clear with no significant scratches or chips visible.
Movement
Inside is the Omega Caliber 1438, a 6-jewel Swiss quartz movement. The caliber presents a clean appearance with no visible corrosion or damage. A battery is present, and the movement displays crisp engravings reading OMEGA, 1438, SIX 6 JEWELS, SWISS, and V8.
Strap
The watch is fitted with its original signed integrated stainless steel bracelet, completing the unified aesthetic of this specific model. Secured by an Omega signed clasp, the bracelet shows moderate scratches and scuffs consistent with the wear on the case. It accommodates a maximum wrist size of 17.5cm.
Condition
Good vintage condition. The stainless steel case and integrated bracelet show honest, moderate scratches and scuffs throughout, with some softening to the case edges. The bezel insert displays noticeable scratches, the metal rim has dings, and the luminous pip is degraded or missing. The dial features an attractive creamy patina on the markers and hands, alongside minor oxidation on the hand frames and light spotting on the dial surface. The crystal remains clear, and the quartz movement presents cleanly.

The case measures 38mm (excluding the crown).

History
Produced in 1991, this model is affectionately known by collectors as the 'Pre-Bond' Seamaster. It represented Omega's professional dive watch line during a transitional period for the brand, just before their partnership with the James Bond film franchise. Powered by the 6-jewel Swiss quartz Caliber 1438, the watch reflects the robust and purposeful design language of early 1990s sports watches.
