Dial and Hands
The well-preserved dial features a brilliant silver sunburst finish that remains exceptionally clean, showing minimal signs of aging or spotting. Applied indices with black inserts provide striking contrast, complemented by crisp printing that reads OMEGA, Genève, and T SWISS MADE T. The stick hands, also detailed with black inserts, present an aged character with visible oxidation and surface dirt on their metal finish, distinguishing them from the pristine dial surface beneath.
Case and Crystal
The 36 mm stainless steel case retains relatively sharp geometry and edges. The brushed top surfaces transition cleanly to polished flanks, displaying light scratches and handling marks consistent with honest wear. A signed crown featuring the Omega logo is fitted, with its knurled edge showing light wear. The domed acrylic crystal exhibits minor surface scratches and light dust visible under direct lighting.
Movement
Inside beats the manual-winding Omega Caliber 613, a 17-jewel movement adjusted to two positions. The copper-colored plating is remarkably clean, showing no visible corrosion or moisture damage, and the screw heads and gears appear in good condition. Engravings on the movement clearly display OMEGA WATCH Co, SWISS, the caliber number 613, and the serial number 30889543. The timegrapher records a rate of +15+20s/day. Exhibiting remarkable accuracy and consistency, performing brilliantly for a vintage timepiece.
Strap
The watch is fitted with its original signed stainless steel mesh bracelet. The period correct mesh construction shows light overall wear with no major deformation and secures via a signed Omega clasp. The bracelet accommodates a maximum wrist size of 19 cm.
Condition
Excellent vintage condition. The watch presents beautifully, highlighted by a remarkably clean dial and a sharp stainless steel case that shows only honest, age-related wear. The hands display visible oxidation, and the acrylic crystal bears minor surface scratches. The original mesh bracelet remains in good structural shape. Supported by the recorded timegrapher results, the movement is performing very strongly.
Dimensions
The case measures 36 mm in diameter, excluding the crown.
Remarks
This Omega Geneve offers a highly attractive silver sunburst dial paired with a strong, sharp case. The inclusion of the original signed mesh bracelet and the dependable Caliber 613 movement make this a complete and deeply appealing vintage package.
