The exceptionally clean and well-preserved gold-tone dial features a striking vertical brushed finish. The dial is very clean overall, showing minimal signs of aging or spotting, while the hands present their finish intact with no obvious corrosion or paint loss.
Case and Crystal
The square gold-plated case retains good overall geometry, displaying honest wear consistent with its age. Moderate surface scratches and handling marks are visible on the polished flanks and the integrated bezel area. The interior case edges where the stainless steel caseback seats show some plating wear and tarnish, and the caseback exterior exhibits light surface scratches. The original gold-tone knurled crown is clearly signed with the Omega logo on its face, showing some surface wear and minor plating loss on the knurled edges. The flat crystal shows some light surface scratches visible under reflected light.
Movement
Inside is the Omega manual wind caliber 625, correctly engraved with the Omega signature and serial number 37098138. The copper-colored plating is bright and clean, showing no obvious signs of corrosion, moisture damage, or heavy tool marks, and the screw heads appear in good condition. Exhibiting remarkable accuracy and consistency, performing brilliantly for a vintage timepiece.
Strap
The watch is fitted with a worn but serviceable black leather strap featuring an embossed pattern. The strap shows signs of wear, creasing, and some fraying at the lugs, and is secured by a gold-tone buckle with no visible signature.
Condition
Excellent vintage condition. The exceptionally clean brushed dial and hands remain beautifully preserved, while the square case shows honest age-related wear, including moderate scratches on the polished flanks, plating wear on the interior caseback seating edges, and minor plating loss on the signed crown. The flat crystal bears light surface scratches, and the leather strap shows creasing and fraying at the lugs. The movement is performing very strongly, supported by the recorded timegrapher results.
Dimensions
The case measures 28mm (excluding the crown).

This De Ville is a compelling example of 1970s Omega design, featuring a sharply defined square case and a pristine brushed dial. The strong performance of its caliber 625 makes it a highly capable and elegant dress watch for the collector.
