Crisp black typography complements the applied indices, which retain their intact black inserts. The luminous dots at the outer edge of the indices are present and evenly aged. The matching stick hands feature black inserts that coordinate perfectly with the indices, alongside luminous material that matches the dial plots. A clean and straight black sweep second hand completes the display.
Case and Crystal
The sharp tonneau case geometry is characterized by well-defined edges and original radial brushing clearly visible on the upper surfaces. The polished flanks show light, honest handling marks without any significant dents or deep scratches, presenting a well-preserved unpolished appearance. The watch retains its correct Omega signed crown with well-defined knurling. The domed acrylic crystal is generally clear, showing some light surface scratches visible under angled lighting.
Movement
Inside is the automatic Omega Caliber 1481. The copper-plated finish is clean, with the rotor and bridges remaining bright and well-preserved. There are no obvious signs of corrosion, moisture damage, or mishandling, and the movement displays clear OMEGA WATCH Co SWISS, 34759192, and 1481 engravings. The timegrapher result is -5-8s/day. Exhibiting remarkable accuracy and consistency, performing brilliantly for a vintage timepiece.

The watch is fitted with its original signed bracelet, a stainless steel flat link design that is period correct and well-suited to the case. The bracelet is in good condition, showing moderate surface scratches and scuffs consistent with age and use.

Excellent vintage condition. The case is sharp and well-preserved, maintaining its original radial brushing alongside light, honest handling marks on the polished flanks. The dial and hands are exceptionally clean, with matching aged luminous material. The domed acrylic crystal displays light surface scratches, and the original signed bracelet shows moderate scuffs consistent with normal wear. Supported by the recorded timegrapher result, the movement is performing very strongly.

Remarks
This Genève stands out for its remarkably sharp tonneau case and beautifully preserved factory finishes. The combination of a pristine silver sunburst dial and its original signed stainless steel flat link bracelet makes this a highly cohesive and attractive 1970s Omega.
History
The Omega Genève line was introduced in the 1950s as a tribute to the brand's Geneva-based workshops, eventually evolving into a diverse range of elegant and sporty models by the 1970s. During this era, the tonneau case shape became a defining characteristic of Omega design language, offering a robust yet refined aesthetic. The Caliber 1481 is a reliable automatic movement developed in partnership with Tissot, known for its practical quickset date mechanism and durable construction. This example represents a classic execution of Omega styling from a highly creative period in watchmaking.
