Driven by the respected Omega Caliber 552 automatic movement, it offers a clean and highly legible design that defines late 1960s watchmaking. Its applied indices feature black inserts that remain fully intact, perfectly complementing the crisp and legible printed text. The lume plots at the base of the indices show consistent, warm aging. The original baton hands mirror the indices with matching black inserts and carry luminous material that perfectly matches the dial plots, displaying only light oxidation visible under magnification. Case and Crystal The 34 mm stainless steel case is well preserved, retaining strong original geometry. The brushed finish on the top of the case and lugs remains clearly defined, while the polished sides display only light handling marks. The edges remain sharp and distinct. The caseback shows light surface scratches but retains its clear factory engraving. The domed acrylic crystal exhibits light surface scratches with no major cracks or chips visible. Winding and setting are controlled by an Omega signed crown with well-defined knurling. Movement Inside beats the copper-colored Omega Caliber 552 automatic movement, featuring 24 jewels. The caliber is clean, showing no obvious signs of corrosion or damage, and the rotor and bridges display their original finishing. The movement is clearly engraved with the Omega Watch Co Swiss signature, jewel count, and matching serial number.
