The original stick hands feature black inserts and luminous material, displaying visible oxidation and minor surface degradation on their metal finish. The luminous material appears intact but gracefully aged.
Case and Crystal
The tonneau-shaped stainless steel case retains its original geometry, showing honest wear consistent with its age. The design utilizes an integrated lug structure, featuring brushed upper surfaces contrasted by polished flanks. Moderate scratches and small dings are present, particularly along the edge of the smooth, integrated steel bezel and the polished sides. The caseback displays light surface wear while maintaining clear engravings. The steel crown features an embossed Omega logo, showing light wear with the logo remaining clearly defined. The domed acrylic crystal is clear, presenting some light surface scratches visible under certain lighting angles, with no major cracks or chips.
Movement
Powering the watch is the copper-toned Omega Caliber 1012 automatic movement. The caliber appears very clean, with well-preserved screw heads and plates, showing no obvious signs of corrosion or moisture damage. Visible engravings include SWISS, OMEGA, the serial number 38153771, and the caliber number 1012. Exhibiting remarkable accuracy and consistency, performing brilliantly for a vintage timepiece.
