History
The Omega Seamaster Cosmic line emerged during a period of bold design experimentation in the late 1960s and 1970s. Utilizing a monocoque tonneau case that opens from the front, the Cosmic series provided a robust architecture for everyday wear. The integration of the Omega caliber 752 automatic movement brought the convenience of a day-date complication and a push-pull quickset date mechanism. Produced in large numbers, the Seamaster Cosmic remains an accessible and popular entry into vintage Omega, celebrated for its distinctive styling and reliable mechanical foundation.
