The stainless steel C-shape case presents in honest vintage condition with normal signs of wear. The geometry features brushed top surfaces contrasting with polished flanks. Moderate scratches and handling marks are visible on the flanks and lugs, as well as light scratches on the smooth steel bezel. History
The Omega Seamaster line has long been celebrated for its robust construction and elegant design. By the early 1970s, Omega had embraced the C-shape case, a design that offered a more substantial and integrated look on the wrist. The Caliber 565 is highly regarded by collectors for its durability and the convenient addition of a quickset date mechanism, representing a high point in Omega's mid-century automatic movement production.
