The time is indicated by clean black stick hands, which survive in good condition with no significant oxidation or visible damage. Case and Crystal The case is crafted from 20-micron gold plating with a stainless steel caseback. Its geometry remains well-defined, showing honest wear through light surface scratches, while the caseback exhibits minor wear. The bezel is integrated into the overall case design. A pusher-style crown, typical for the caliber 1342 and bearing no visible logo, is fitted to the side. The flat crystal is in excellent condition, remaining clear with no major scratches or chips visible. Movement Inside is the Omega caliber 1342 quartz movement, featuring seven jewels. The movement is clean, showing no obvious signs of battery leakage or heavy corrosion. It bears clear factory engravings including OMEGA, SWISS, UNADJUSTED, and its serial number. Strap The watch is fitted with its original signed gold-tone mesh bracelet, complete with a signed Omega clasp. This original mesh bracelet remains in good condition, showing only light wear consistent with age, and accommodates a maximum wrist fit of 20cm. Condition Good vintage condition. The case presents honest wear with light surface scratches and a well-defined profile. The dial displays noticeable prominent staining and discoloration around the applied Omega logo, though the printed text and clean black stick hands remain in good order. The crystal is clear, and the original mesh bracelet shows age-appropriate light wear. The quartz movement is visually clean and free of obvious battery leakage. Dimensions Case Size: 34mm (excluding the crown). Remarks This De Ville offers classic late-1970s styling coupled with an in-house Omega quartz movement. The presence of its original integrated gold-tone mesh bracelet and signed clasp provides a cohesive and highly wearable vintage aesthetic. History The Omega De Ville collection emerged as a standalone line in 1967, representing the brand's dedication to refined, dress-oriented timepieces. During the late 1970s, Omega embraced the quartz revolution with high-quality, in-house calibers like the 1342. These movements often featured distinctive time-setting mechanisms, such as the pusher-style crown, differentiating them from standard mechanical counterparts. Watches from this era reflect a transitional period in watchmaking, combining traditional dress watch elegance with modern quartz technology. / Second Vintage SKU: OME-ODV-0031
