Dial and Hands
The dial features a beautiful silver sunburst finish, complemented by applied indices with distinct black inserts. Signed OMEGA, Genève, and SWISS MADE, the face displays an attractive vintage appearance with light, even aging. Under magnification, minor spotting and light patina are visible, particularly near the edges. The black stick hands exhibit minor surface wear and light oxidation under magnification, remaining well-preserved and consistent with the overall condition of the dial.
Case and Crystal
The stainless steel case features an integrated polished steel bezel and retains a generally good shape, with the lugs showing minor edge wear. The case exterior exhibits light surface scratches and handling marks throughout, reflecting honest wear consistent with age and normal use. More pronounced scratches are visible on the caseback exterior. The domed acrylic crystal is clear with minimal visible wear and no significant deep scratches or cracks. The crown is signed with the Omega logo and shows good definition on the fluting alongside minor wear.

Inside beats the manual-winding Omega Caliber 601. The copper-colored movement presents a clean appearance with no obvious corrosion or heavy staining, while the screw heads and plates appear well-preserved. The silver sunburst dial and black stick hands present beautifully, showing only minor spotting, light patina, and slight oxidation visible under magnification. The crystal is clear, and the signed crown retains good fluting. The movement is clean and running in operational condition.

The case measures 34 mm in diameter (excluding the crown), with a lug-to-lug distance of 39 mm and an 18 mm lug width.

History
The Genève line was introduced in the 1950s to designate watches manufactured to exacting standards in Omega's Geneva workshops. Over the following decades, the collection expanded to include a wide variety of elegant dress and everyday timepieces that became highly popular among enthusiasts. This example from circa 1970 is powered by the manual-winding Omega Caliber 601, a well-regarded movement featuring 17 jewels and adjusted to two positions, perfectly illustrating the straightforward and reliable mechanical watchmaking of the era.
