The black stick hands offer a clean finish with no visible corrosion or damage, remaining well-preserved and ensuring the watch is highly legible. Case and Crystal The 32mm stainless steel cushion-shaped case displays honest vintage condition, retaining its factory finishes with brushed top surfaces and polished flanks. Light surface scratches and handling marks consistent with age are visible across the exterior. The plain caseback features a brushed finish alongside minor scratches. A knurled crown, signed with the Omega logo, is in good condition with well-defined teeth for setting and winding. The flat crystal is integrated directly into the case design, eliminating the need for a distinct bezel, and remains clear with no significant scratches, chips, or crazing visible. Movement Inside is the manual winding Omega caliber 625. The copper-colored plating is bright and clean, showing no visible corrosion, oxidation, or damaged screw heads. The movement features clear engravings reading Omega, Swiss, Seventeen 17 Jewels, Unadjusted, 625, and the serial number 42 059921. On the timegrapher, the watch recorded +20+22s/day. Performing well within expected vintage tolerances; running strong and steady. Strap The watch is fitted with its original signed black leather strap, which is marked Omega Swiss Made on the lining. It is secured by a distinctive ribbed steel buckle featuring an applied Omega logo. The strap shows moderate wear and creasing consistent with age and use. Condition Good vintage condition. The stainless steel cushion case displays honest wear with light scratches and handling marks, while retaining its brushed and polished factory finishes. The silver dial shows noticeable spotting and developing patina along the right edge, contrasted by very clean black stick hands. The original signed leather strap exhibits moderate creasing and wear. The manual-winding movement is visually bright and clean. Dimensions The case size is 32mm (excluding the crown). Remarks This De Ville presents an excellent opportunity to acquire a 1970s dress watch that retains its original signed strap and ribbed buckle. The slim cushion case and vertically brushed dial offer an elegant profile, making it a compelling choice for collectors of well-documented vintage Omega timepieces. History The De Ville collection became a standalone line in 1967, branching off from the Seamaster family to focus on elegant, dress-oriented designs. Reference 111.0139 was introduced to Omega's international collection in 1977, embodying the refined profiles characteristic of the era's dress watches. Powered by the reliable manual-winding caliber 625, these models provided a sophisticated alternative to the bulkier sports watches of the decade.
