Dial and Hands
The dial is exceptionally clean and well-preserved, featuring a radiant silver sunburst finish. Applied indices with black inserts provide excellent contrast alongside crisp printed text. There is very minor surface dust present, but no significant spotting or damage. The original stick hands also feature black inserts and display age-appropriate oxidation, with visible wear on the metal surfaces particularly near the pinion.
Case and Crystal
The stainless steel C-shape case exhibits honest wear with preserved geometry. The brushed top surfaces and polished flanks show moderate scratches and handling marks consistent with age and use, though the case lines remain generally well-defined. A smooth steel bezel is integrated into the case design, bearing light scratches that match the overall case wear. The watch is fitted with a signed Omega crown, where the knurling shows moderate wear. The domed acrylic crystal has minor surface scratches visible under light.
Movement
Inside is the Omega Caliber 565 automatic movement with a quickset date function. The copper-colored plating remains bright and intact, with the rotor and bridges presenting cleanly. There is no visible corrosion or significant tool marks. Engravings for the caliber 565, 24 jewels, and the serial number 31420220 are clearly legible. The timegrapher recorded a rate of +18+20s/day. Exhibiting remarkable accuracy and consistency, performing brilliantly for a vintage timepiece.
Strap
The watch is fitted with its original signed stainless steel multi-link bracelet, completed by a signed Omega folding clasp. The endlinks are correctly stamped 067, matching the case reference. The bracelet displays normal wear, including moderate surface scratches and expected stretch, and will accommodate a maximum wrist size of 19 cm.
Condition
Good vintage condition. The case and bracelet display honest wear, with moderate scratches, handling marks, and expected stretch on the links, though the C-shape case geometry remains well-defined. The silver sunburst dial is exceptionally clean, while the original hands show visible oxidation near the pinion. The domed acrylic crystal exhibits minor surface scratches. The movement is clean and, supported by the recorded timegrapher result, is performing very strongly.

History
The Omega Seamaster line, introduced in 1948, is one of the most enduring and respected collections in watchmaking. By the late 1960s and early 1970s, Omega began experimenting with more substantial case geometries, including the C-shape design seen in the reference 166.067. Powered by the robust Caliber 565, known for its reliable automatic winding and quickset date mechanism, these models offered both durability and precise timekeeping. Today, they remain highly appreciated for their distinct vintage character and reliable everyday wearability.
