History
The Seiko Lord Matic (LM) line was introduced in the late 1960s as a premium mid-tier offering, positioned just below the Grand Seiko and King Seiko collections. Powered by the sophisticated 5600 series automatic calibers, the LM series became known for its reliable performance, slim profile, and diverse range of case designs. During the 1970s, Seiko experimented with bold dial colors and intricately faceted crystals, reflecting the vibrant design language of the era. Today, these distinctive configurations remain collector favourites, celebrated for their unique aesthetic and dependable mechanical foundations.
