Dial and Hands
The silver sunburst dial is exceptionally clean and well-preserved, showing minimal signs of aging or spotting. It features applied faceted indices and crisp black printing that remain highly defined. The dauphine style hands are equally well preserved, presenting a clean finish with very minor oxidation visible only under magnification.
Case and Crystal
The 33 millimeter polished stainless steel case displays honest vintage wear, with moderate surface scratches consistent with its age. The lugs retain decent shape and definition. A smooth polished bezel frames the dial, showing light surface scratches consistent with the rest of the case. The watch is fitted with an unsigned knurled crown that shows some wear to the outer edge. A domed acrylic crystal protects the dial and remains clear, with no major scratches, crazing, or cracks visible.
Movement
Inside is the manual wind Seikosha caliber 560, a 19-jewel movement featuring clear engravings that read SEIKOSHA, 19 JEWELS, 560, and F S. The plates show some minor marks and light surface oxidation, while the screw heads are generally clean. Timegrapher results show 40s+42s/day. Running in operational condition. Maintains the authentic mechanical character of the watch.
Strap
The watch is paired with a black leather strap featuring white contrast stitching. The strap shows light wear and creasing, providing a casual vintage pairing that suits the mid-century aesthetic perfectly.
