The black stick hands match the dial indices perfectly, with their finish appearing fully intact and showing no visible corrosion or bending.
Case and Crystal
The gold-plated cushion case features an integrated bezel design and is secured by a stainless steel caseback. The watch exhibits honest wear consistent with its age, including moderate surface scratches and scuffs visible across the polished flanks and bezel area. Some wear and minor oxidation are visible on the caseback seating area, while the stainless steel caseback itself shows light scratches. The flat crystal is clear, showing only minor surface dust or very light micro-scratches visible under direct light. The fluted crown is set with a black cabochon stone and does not display an Omega logo on its face.
Movement
Powering this watch is the manual wind Omega Caliber 625. The copper-colored plating is bright and clean, showing no visible corrosion, rust, or significant tool marks. The screw heads appear in good condition, and engravings confirm the movement features 17 jewels and is unadjusted. Recording +20+25s/day on the timegrapher, the movement is performing well within expected vintage tolerances; running strong and steady.
Strap
The watch is fitted with a black leather strap that shows moderate creasing and wear. It remains a functional and comfortable pairing, secured by a gold-tone pin buckle that features an applied Omega logo.

History
The Omega De Ville collection emerged in the 1960s as a sophisticated alternative to the brand's more robust sports models, eventually becoming a standalone line dedicated to refined dress watches. Known for elegant case shapes and minimalist dials, the De Ville represents Omega's commitment to classic design and traditional watchmaking. The Caliber 625 is a well-regarded manual-wind movement from the 1970s, appreciated for its slim profile and reliable performance, making it perfectly suited for elegant dress watches of this era.
