Case and Crystal
The classic C-shape case design features brushed upper surfaces and polished flanks, presenting in honest vintage condition with attractive preserved geometry. The edges remain generally well-defined, though slightly softened from previous wear or light polishing, accompanied by moderate surface scratches and handling wear consistent with age. A distinctive fluted engine-turned bezel frames the dial, showing light wear to its textured edges but retaining distinct definition. The scalloped crown is clearly signed with the Omega logo and shows light wear to its polished surface. A domed acrylic crystal protects the dial, showing minor surface scratches and light wear with clear visibility and no major cracks or chips.
Movement
Powering the watch is the copper-colored Omega Caliber 564, a 24-jewel automatic chronometer movement adjusted to five positions and temperature. The plates and bridges are clean, retaining intact perlage and brushing with no obvious signs of heavy corrosion or tool marks. +5+9s/day. Exhibiting remarkable accuracy and consistency, performing brilliantly for a vintage timepiece.

History
Introduced in 1952, the Constellation line quickly became Omega's flagship chronometer, renowned for precision and elegant design. In the late 1960s, the collection evolved with the introduction of the C-shape case, famously penned by Gerald Genta. This design represented a modern shift in mid-century watchmaking, moving away from the pie-pan dials and dog-leg lugs of earlier models toward a more integrated, streamlined aesthetic. Combined with the reliable Caliber 564 movement, the C-shape Constellation remains a celebrated chapter in Omega's production history.
