Case and Crystal
The 17mm gold-plated case features a stainless steel caseback and a distinctive fluted and faceted lug design. The case flanks and lugs exhibit moderate scratches alongside visible tarnish and oxidation, presenting honest wear with an attractive vintage character. The signed Omega crown shows typical wear and some plating loss. A striking faceted acrylic crystal adds distinct character to the watch, though it displays some light scratches and scuffs, particularly near the edges.

Powering this watch is the copper-colored Omega Caliber 661. This automatic movement features a visible rotor and bears engravings reading OMEGA WATCH Co, SWISS, TWENTY-FOUR 24 JEWELS, 661, and ADJUSTED TWO (2) POSITIONS. It maintains a clean overall appearance with only minor marks on the screw heads. The timegrapher records +9+13s/day. History
The Omega De Ville line originally began as part of the Seamaster collection before becoming a standalone family known for its refined, dress-oriented styling. During the 1960s, Omega produced highly regarded miniaturized mechanical movements. The Caliber 661 demonstrates this engineering capability, packing a 24-jewel automatic winding system into an incredibly small footprint. These elegant ladies' models remain appreciated by collectors for their classic design language and high-grade mechanical construction.
