    About This Watch

Presented for auction by Second Vintage This classic integrated bracelet Seamaster highlights Omega's defining design language of the early 1980s. Featuring a pristine silver sunburst dial and a robust tonneau case, it delivers a highly cohesive aesthetic paired with the reliable day-date functionality of the Caliber 1020. Brand: Omega Model: Seamaster Reference Number: 1660216.3 / 3660848.3 Serial Number: 45426924 Movement: Automatic Caliber 1020 Dial: Silver sunburst with day-date Case Size: 35 mm (excluding the crown) Case Material: Stainless Steel Production Year: 1982 Condition: Good vintage condition. Timegrapher: -9-10s/day, performing remarkably well. Dial and Hands The exceptionally clean and well-preserved silver sunburst dial is in pristine condition, offering crisp printing throughout. Applied indices feature black inserts, complemented by intact lume plots at the outer edges that display mild, even aging. An English day-date aperture sits cleanly at the three o'clock position. The original baton hands also feature black inserts and luminous material, presenting light oxidation and minor aging visible under magnification, reflecting their original condition and age-appropriate wear. Case and Crystal The stainless steel tonneau-shaped case displays honest wear with its original geometry beautifully preserved. The brushed upper surfaces transition to polished flanks, showing light scratches and minor dings on the edges consistent with normal wear. A polished smooth bezel ring integrates smoothly into the case design, exhibiting light surface scratches. The watch is fitted with a scalloped crown clearly signed with the Omega logo. Above, the domed acrylic crystal remains clear with minimal signs of wear and no deep scratches or cracks visible. Movement Inside beats the automatic Omega Caliber 1020, a 17-jewel unadjusted movement. It displays the copper-colored plating typical of Omega calibers from this era and presents a clean appearance with no obvious corrosion or moisture damage. The rotor and bridges appear well-preserved, bearing crisp engravings including the caliber and serial numbers. Recording -9-10s/day on the timegrapher. Exhibiting remarkable accuracy and consistency, performing brilliantly for a vintage timepiece. Strap The watch is fitted with its original signed integrated stainless steel link bracelet, which perfectly matches the tonneau case design. It features a folding clasp signed with the Omega logo. The bracelet shows moderate surface scratches and normal stretch consistent with its age, accommodating a maximum wrist fit of 17.5 cm. Condition Good vintage condition. The dial is exceptionally pristine, contrasting nicely with the honest character of the case, which shows minor dings and light scratches. The hands display mild oxidation, and the original integrated bracelet exhibits normal stretch and moderate wear. The movement is remarkably clean and running with strong precision on the timegrapher. Dimensions The case measures 35 mm (excluding the crown). Remarks This Seamaster offers an outstanding silver sunburst dial and the highly cohesive look of a factory-integrated bracelet. The combination of its pristine face and reliable day-date movement makes it a highly practical and attractive vintage companion. History By the late 1970s and early 1980s, integrated bracelet designs had become a dominant force in watchmaking, offering a seamless flow from case to clasp. Omega embraced this aesthetic across the Seamaster line, combining robust tonneau cases with reliable in-house mechanics. The Caliber 1020 was a workhorse of this era, providing convenient day and date complications in a slim, efficient package that remains highly respected by collectors today.
