History
Introduced in 1968, the Lord Matic series was positioned just below Seiko's premium King Seiko and Grand Seiko lines, offering high-quality finishing and advanced mechanics to the market. The Seiko Caliber 5606 is a 23-jewel automatic movement recognized for providing both hacking and hand-winding capabilities. Historically, the 5606 caliber is known among collectors for its complex day and date rocker gear, a component that requires gentle handling as these vintage movements age.
