History
Produced between 1967 and 1978, the Lord Marvel 36000 holds a pivotal place in Seiko's developmental history. The model was equipped with the manual wind caliber 5740C, which marked the brand's first entry into high-beat movements, operating at 36,000 vibrations per hour and offering a 40-hour power reserve. This groundbreaking mechanism served as a crucial proving ground for the subsequent high-beat calibers that would eventually define the elite Grand Seiko and King Seiko lines, cementing the Lord Marvel's status as a highly sought-after milestone in precision watchmaking.
