Supported by the timegrapher reading of +20+25s/day, the movement is performing well within expected vintage tolerances; running strong and steady. Dimensions 36mm (excluding the crown) Remarks This Seiko Skyliner distinguishes itself through an incredibly clean silver sunburst dial and sharp applied indices. The combination of the reliable Seikosha 402 movement and the visible seahorse caseback makes it a highly attractive choice for enthusiasts of mid-century Japanese watchmaking. History Introduced in the 1960s, the Seiko Skyliner was designed as a more accessible version of the thin, luxury Seiko Liner. Its movement is based on the architecture of the Seiko Marvel, modified to be thinner and updated with Diafix shock protection. The model is also recognized for its distinctive caseback, which features a classic seahorse engraving, making it a celebrated reference point in Seiko's mid-century catalog. / Second Vintage SKU: SEI-SXX-0027
