    Om denna klocka

Now available at auction from Second Vintage This late-1970s Omega De Ville presents a highly refined dress watch profile, highlighted by an exceptionally clean, vertically brushed gold-tone dial. As a classic and reliable vintage Omega De Ville quartz, it delivers minimalist elegance in a traditional 24 mm format, complete with an Omega signed pin buckle. Brand: Omega Model: De Ville Reference Number: 591.0044 Serial Number: 41755123 Movement: Quartz, caliber 1351 Dial: Vertically brushed gold-tone finish with applied black baton indices Case Size: 24 mm (excluding the crown) Case Material: Gold-plated, stainless steel caseback Production Year: circa 1978 Condition: Good vintage condition. Dial and Hands The vertically brushed gold-tone dial remains exceptionally clean and well-preserved, showing no visible spotting or damage. The striking vertical texture catches the light beautifully, serving as an elegant backdrop for the applied black baton indices and crisp printed text. The black stick hands are in excellent condition, displaying no visible oxidation or damage, and perfectly complement the high-contrast, minimalist aesthetic of the dial markers. Case and Crystal The 24 mm gold-plated case is designed with an integrated smooth bezel and a durable stainless steel caseback. The metal surfaces display honest wear, with moderate surface scratches visible along the case flanks, the lugs, and the smooth bezel. On the exterior of the stainless steel caseback, there is heavy residue or a degraded protective sticker still present. A recessed pusher-style crown is neatly positioned at the 3 o'clock location, ensuring the sleek, uninterrupted geometry of the case profile. The watch is fitted with a flat crystal that remains clear, with no significant scratches visible. Movement Inside is the Omega caliber 1351 quartz movement, displaying a clean appearance with a battery currently installed. The movement components are engraved with "1351", "OMEGA WATCH Co", "TWO 2 JEWELS", "UNADJUSTED", "SWISS", and the serial number "41755123", matching the identity of the watch. Strap The watch is fitted with a black leather strap secured by a gold-tone Omega signed pin buckle. The strap is ready to wear, exhibiting moderate creasing and wear consistent with previous use. Condition Good vintage condition. The dial and hands are remarkably well-preserved and rate as excellent. The case and bezel show honest wear, characterized by moderate surface scratches on the flanks and lugs, while the stainless steel caseback retains heavy residue from a degraded protective sticker. The strap displays moderate creasing from use. The quartz movement is clean and currently has a battery installed. Dimensions The case measures 24 mm in diameter (excluding the crown) and features a slim profile with a thickness of 7 mm. Remarks This De Ville is an appealing dress watch that offers traditional proportions and a highly attractive brushed dial. The inclusion of the Omega signed buckle and the reliable caliber 1351 quartz movement make it a highly wearable vintage piece for any formal or casual setting. History The De Ville line became a standalone dress watch collection in 1967 when Omega officially separated it from the Seamaster family. This shift allowed the brand to focus on pure elegance and refined aesthetics, distinct from the sporting nature of their other collections. Produced circa 1978, this reference 591.0044 reflects the late-1970s transition into reliable quartz technology while maintaining the refined, minimalist design language that defined the De Ville family.
