Dial and Hands The exceptionally clean and well-preserved silver dial features striking vertical brushing that catches the light beautifully. Applied indices with black inserts and intact lume plots provide excellent legibility, complemented by a crisp silver-framed date window at the 3 o'clock position. A vibrant applied red Omega logo is positioned at 12 o'clock, matching the sweeping seconds hand. All printed text remains crisp and fully intact. The original baton hands feature black inserts and luminous material that shows appropriate age-related darkening. While the red seconds hand remains vibrant, some minor oxidation is visible on the metal surfaces of the hands under magnification. Case and Crystal The stainless steel case displays honest wear consistent with age, retaining good overall geometry. The brushed finish on the smooth bezel and lugs contrasts nicely with the polished case flanks, which show light scratches, minor dings, and age-related wear. The case edges remain generally well-defined, exhibiting some softening from use. On the reverse, the caseback features a very crisp Constellation observatory medallion with all stars clearly visible.
