    Om denna klocka

Now available at auction from Second Vintage A classic and elegant ladies' Omega Genève from the early 1970s. This petite timepiece features a beautifully preserved vertically brushed gold-tone dial and retains its original signed Omega crown alongside a matching signed buckle. Offering a highly attractive aesthetic for vintage collectors, it represents a charming example of traditional mid-century watchmaking scaled down into a refined and wearable profile. Brand: Omega Model: Genève Reference Number: 515.019 Serial Number: 33654561 Movement: Manual wind, Caliber 485, 17 jewels Dial: Gold-tone with vertical brushed finish Case Size: 19 mm (excluding the crown) Case Material: Gold-plated (20 microns), stainless steel caseback Production Year: 1971 Condition: Good vintage condition. Timegrapher: -20-22s/day, running strong and steady. Dial and Hands The gold-tone dial is exceptionally clean and well-preserved, defined by a striking vertical brushed finish that catches the light beautifully. It is detailed with an applied Omega logo and faceted baton indices featuring black inserts, which provide excellent contrast against the golden surface. These markers perfectly match the baton hands, which also carry black inserts for enhanced legibility. The black printing for the 'OMEGA' and 'Genève' text remains remarkably crisp. There is no visible spotting, staining, or damage to the dial surface, preserving a pristine vintage character. The hands present a clean finish with no visible oxidation or corrosion, perfectly complementing the dial furniture. Case and Crystal The 19mm gold-plated case features classic straight lugs and displays honest wear consistent with its age. Moderate scratches and handling marks are visible on the flanks and lugs, alongside some expected wear to the gold plating on the sharp edges. The watch retains its original signed Omega crown, which shows minor plating loss and wear on the knurled edges from decades of winding. A stainless steel caseback secures the reverse of the watch. A domed acrylic crystal protects the dial, showing some light surface scratches that become visible under certain lighting angles. Movement Powering this Genève is the Omega Caliber 485, a manual wind movement containing 17 jewels. The copper-colored plates and bridges are remarkably clean, showing no visible corrosion or significant scratches, while the screw heads appear in very good condition. The movement bridges are clearly engraved with the Omega signature, the caliber number, and the serial number 33654561. Timegrapher testing indicates a rate of -20-22s/day. Performing well within expected vintage tolerances; running strong and steady. Strap The watch is fitted with a classic black leather strap featuring a textured alligator or crocodile pattern. It is secured to the wrist by a vintage gold-tone buckle bearing the applied Omega logo. The buckle shows tarnish and wear to the plating, which perfectly matches the honest vintage character of the case. Condition Good vintage condition. The case displays honest wear, with moderate scratches on the flanks and lugs, as well as some plating loss on the sharp edges and the signed crown. The vertically brushed dial and matching hands remain in excellent, clean condition with no visible damage or oxidation. The domed acrylic crystal exhibits light surface scratches consistent with normal use. The manual wind movement is remarkably clean and, supported by the timegrapher data, is running well. Dimensions The case measures 19 mm in diameter, excluding the crown. Remarks This Omega Genève offers a highly attractive vertically brushed dial that remains in exceptional condition for its age. The presence of the signed crown and vintage signed buckle makes this a thoroughly charming and honest example of classic 1970s ladies' watch design. It is a beautiful mechanical timepiece that remains highly wearable today. History The Omega Genève line was introduced in the mid 20th century as a tribute to the brand's Geneva-based operations, eventually evolving into a versatile collection of elegant and reliable timepieces. The reference 515.019 was specifically designed and marketed as a ladies' watch, characterized by its petite 19mm case and refined aesthetic. It is powered by the Omega Caliber 485, a reliable manual wind movement that supported the brand's compact ladies' models during this era. Today, these elegant vintage pieces offer collectors a beautiful connection to Omega's tradition of mechanical watchmaking.
