Dial and Hands
The dial is characterized by a beautiful silver sunburst finish that remains exceptionally clean and well-preserved, showing minimal signs of aging or spotting. Applied faceted indices and crisp black printed text provide excellent contrast and visual depth. The silver-tone dauphine style hands are original and display light, age-appropriate oxidation, with minor surface micro-spotting visible under macro inspection.
Case and Crystal
Crafted from stainless steel, the case retains its overall geometry while displaying honest vintage wear. The lugs hold their general shape but show signs of previous polishing. Moderate surface scratches and scuffs are present across the case and smooth steel bezel, consistent with age and use. Significant dirt and grime accumulation is visible on the case perimeter beneath the caseback. The caseback itself features the highly desirable 'SPECIALLY INSPECTED' engraving. The watch is fitted with a domed acrylic crystal that remains clear, with no major scratches, cracks, or crazing visible. An original crown, signed with an 'S' and featuring well-defined knurling, completes the profile.
Movement
Inside beats an early Seikosha 23-jewel manual wind movement. The plates and bridges appear relatively clean, bearing the clear engravings 'LORD MARVEL', 'SEIKOSHA', '23 JEWELS', and '994225'. Heavy dirt and grime are present on the case seating area surrounding the caliber. The timegrapher records a rate of -10-12s/day. Exhibiting remarkable accuracy and consistency, performing brilliantly for a vintage timepiece.
Strap
The watch is paired with a textured leather strap featuring contrast stitching. The strap appears to be in lightly used condition and provides a distinctive visual character on the wrist.

Timegrapher results indicate strong mechanical performance.
