History
Introduced in the late 1960s, the Seiko Lord Matic line represented a significant pillar of the brand's mid-tier automatic offerings, positioned just below the King Seiko and Grand Seiko families. Powered by the reliable 5600 series calibers, the LM series became a canvas for Seiko's design experimentation in the 1970s. Examples featuring vibrant colored dials and faceted crystals reflect the daring aesthetic trends of the era, remaining highly appreciated by collectors today for their distinctive character and mechanical reliability.
