History
The Omega Speedmaster reference ST 175.0043 was part of the brand's international collection from 1992 to 1998. This era of production introduced versatile automatic chronographs that maintained the visual DNA of the Speedmaster family while offering the convenience of self-winding calibers and date complications. The model is powered by the Omega Caliber 1155, an automatic movement based on the proven ETA/Valjoux 7750 architecture. Operating at 28,800 vibrations per hour, this movement provided a reliable 44-hour power reserve and cemented the Speedmaster Date as a highly capable daily chronograph during the 1990s.
