Dial and Hands
The beautifully preserved dial features an attractive stippled gold-tone finish that catches the light beautifully. The applied gold-tone indices and Omega logo remain clean, while the printed text is crisp and fully intact. A well-framed date window is positioned cleanly at three o'clock. The original gold-tone stick hands show minor surface oxidation and dust under magnification, displaying light aging with no significant corrosion or damage.
Case and Crystal
The gold-plated case displays honest vintage wear with intact plating, showing moderate surface scratches and handling wear. The lug edges exhibit some softening consistent with age and use. Its integrated smooth gold-tone bezel shows surface scratches consistent with the rest of the case. The stainless steel caseback exterior clearly displays the Seamaster seahorse logo, with the caliber number 1342 stamped on the exterior edge. The watch is fitted with a gold-tone signed crown featuring a clear Omega logo, showing some wear to the knurling. The flat crystal is generally clear, presenting some minor surface scratches visible at certain angles.
