History The turn of the 1970s marked a period of significant design evolution for Omega, as the brand began experimenting with bolder case shapes and refined dial textures. Square and cushion cases became highly fashionable, offering a sophisticated departure from traditional round silhouettes. During this era, Omega introduced the Caliber 1000 series, a new generation of high-beat automatic movements designed to be slimmer than their predecessors while maintaining precision. This specific timepiece is a wonderful representation of that transitional period, combining reliable mechanical engineering with the distinct aesthetic sensibilities of the decade. / Second Vintage SKU: OME-OXX-0006
