Dial and Hands
The clean and attractive silver sunburst dial remains in well-preserved condition, displaying minimal aging and catching the light beautifully. It features an applied Omega logo alongside faceted baton indices, creating excellent visual depth, while a neatly framed date window sits at the three o'clock position. Under close inspection, very minor spotting is visible, primarily located near the center of the dial. The original dauphine style hands, including the sweep seconds hand, show age-appropriate oxidation and light spotting across their surfaces, adding honest character to the display.
Case and Crystal
The stainless steel case offers honest vintage wear while preserving its fundamental geometry, featuring a thin polished bezel and brushed and polished lugs that curve gently toward the wrist. The edges remain relatively well-defined, though moderate surface scratches and handling marks consistent with age are present throughout the case and bezel. The caseback exterior retains its brushed finish, exhibiting some light scratches from regular wear over the decades. A scalloped crown signed with the Omega logo displays good definition on its knurling. Above the dial, the domed acrylic crystal bears light surface scratches visible at certain angles.
Movement
Inside beats the copper-toned manual-winding Omega caliber 610, featuring seventeen jewels and adjusted to two positions. The plates and bridges are notably clean, showing minimal signs of tool marks or oxidation, and the screw heads appear in good condition. The timegrapher records a rate of -6s-8s/day. Exhibiting remarkable accuracy and consistency, performing brilliantly for a vintage timepiece.
Strap
The watch is fitted with a complementary black leather strap featuring an alligator grain pattern and contrasting beige stitching. The material shows light signs of wear but pairs handsomely with the silver dial.
Condition
Excellent vintage condition. The watch presents a highly attractive overall appearance with honest wear across its original components. The stainless steel case and polished bezel show moderate surface scratches and handling marks, while the silver sunburst dial remains remarkably clean with only very minor central spotting. The hands exhibit visible oxidation, and the domed acrylic crystal has light surface scratches. Supported by the recorded timegrapher result, the movement is performing very strongly.
Dimensions
The stainless steel case measures 34mm in diameter, excluding the crown.
Remarks
This Omega offers an attractive combination of a well-preserved sunburst dial and a robust manual-winding caliber. Its classic proportions and minimalist design make it a versatile dress watch that remains highly wearable for the modern enthusiast.
