    Om denna klocka

Now available at auction from Second Vintage A quintessential 1970s Omega Genève with a sharp tonneau case, this timepiece offers an exceptionally clean silver sunburst dial and the reliable mechanical performance of the Caliber 613. The distinctive geometry of the stainless steel case paired with a period correct mesh bracelet makes this a highly wearable classic. Brand: Omega Model: Genève Reference Number: 1360049 Serial Number: 34619073 Movement: Manual-wind Caliber 613, 17 jewels Dial: Silver sunburst with applied indices Case Size: 35 mm (excluding the crown) Case Material: Stainless Steel Production Year: 1972 Condition: Good vintage condition. Movement serviced on 13 August 2026. Timegrapher: -1s/day, performing remarkably well. Dial and Hands The silver sunburst dial remains in exceptionally clean and well-preserved condition, displaying minimal signs of aging or spotting. Applied indices with black inserts are fully intact, complementing the crisp and fully legible dial printing. The stick hands, also featuring black inserts, show noticeable age-related oxidation, dirt, and minor corrosion on the metal surfaces, adding a layer of honest aging to the face of the watch while the inserts themselves remain intact. Case and Crystal The tonneau-shaped stainless steel case presents honest vintage wear with preserved original geometry. It features brushed upper surfaces and polished flanks, with the edges remaining reasonably defined despite showing signs of normal wear. Moderate surface scratches and handling marks are visible on the polished sides. A polished fixed bezel ring is integrated into the case design, showing light surface scratches consistent with the rest of the exterior. The signed crown features the Omega logo and well-defined knurling with minor wear. The domed acrylic crystal is clear overall, with some light surface scratches visible under certain lighting angles. Movement Inside the case is the manual-wind Omega Caliber 613, featuring 17 jewels and adjusted to two positions. The copper-colored plating is bright and intact, and the components appear clean with no obvious signs of corrosion or heavy wear. The screw heads remain in good condition, and the movement is engraved with the Omega Watch Co Swiss signature alongside the caliber and serial numbers. The timegrapher records a rate of -1s/day. Exhibiting remarkable accuracy and consistency, performing brilliantly for a vintage timepiece. The movement was serviced on 13 August 2026. Strap The watch is fitted with a period correct stainless steel mesh bracelet that complements the 1970s aesthetic perfectly. The bracelet shows normal wear and minor deformation typical of vintage mesh. It accommodates a maximum wrist size of up to 19 cm. Condition Good vintage condition. The movement was serviced on 13 August 2026 and, supported by the recorded timegrapher result, is performing very strongly. The case displays honest wear, including moderate scratches and handling marks on the polished flanks, while retaining its distinctive tonneau shape. The dial is exceptionally clean, providing a strong visual contrast to the noticeable oxidation and minor corrosion present on the hands. The crystal has light surface scratches, and the period correct mesh bracelet exhibits minor deformation consistent with regular use. Dimensions The case measures 35 mm in diameter, excluding the crown. Remarks This Omega Genève appeals directly through its exceptionally clean silver sunburst dial and robust tonneau case. Powered by a freshly serviced Caliber 613 running brilliantly, it represents a highly wearable and mechanically sound classic from a definitive era of watchmaking. History The Genève line was introduced by Omega as an elegant yet accessible collection, often serving as a platform for the brand to showcase reliable movements and contemporary styling. By the early 1970s, the collection embraced the shifting design language of the era, moving toward the bolder, tonneau-shaped cases that defined the decade. Powered by the robust Caliber 613, a manual-wind movement known for its durability and precision, these models were produced in large numbers, making them widely available and highly appreciated for their everyday wearability and enduring mid-century charm.
