Serial Number: 43226817
Movement: Manual-wind Caliber 625
Dial: Gold-tone with vertical brushed finish and black stick hands

Dial and Hands
The exceptionally clean and well-preserved gold-tone dial is distinguished by a striking vertical brushed finish. All printed text and indices remain crisp and intact, with no visible spotting, staining, or damage. The time is displayed via contrasting black stick hands that are in excellent condition, showing no visible corrosion or paint loss.
Case and Crystal
The gold-plated case presents honest wear consistent with age, displaying visible surface scratches and handling marks. Some plating wear is visible along the case edges and near the gold-tone crown, which is signed with the Omega logo and shows minor wear to its knurling. The stainless steel caseback exhibits moderate surface scratching. The integrated bezel flows smoothly into the case geometry, while the flat acrylic crystal remains clear with no significant scratches, chips, or crazing visible.
Movement
Inside beats the reliable Omega Caliber 625, a 17-jewel manual-wind movement. The copper-colored plating is clean and bright, showing no visible corrosion, oxidation, or damaged screw heads, and features crisp engravings including the serial number. The timegrapher records a rate of -7-10s/day. Exhibiting remarkable accuracy and consistency, performing brilliantly for a vintage timepiece.
Strap
The watch is fitted with a period correct gold-tone mesh bracelet secured by a generic sliding clasp with no visible Omega signature. The bracelet offers period-appropriate styling and shows normal wear with slight deformation typical of vintage mesh. It accommodates a maximum wrist size of up to 18cm.
Condition
Good vintage condition. The dial and hands are exceptionally well-preserved, while the gold-plated case shows honest age-related wear, including surface scratches and localized plating loss on the edges and near the crown. The movement is remarkably clean and, supported by the recorded timegrapher result, is performing very strongly.
Dimensions
The case measures 32 mm in diameter (excluding the crown).
Remarks
This Omega De Ville offers an excellent opportunity to acquire a classic mechanical dress watch with a beautifully preserved dial. The reliable Caliber 625 movement and elegant ultra-thin profile make it a highly wearable and refined addition to any collection.
History
The Omega De Ville line emerged in the 1960s as a sophisticated, design-focused alternative to the brand's robust Seamaster and Speedmaster collections. By the late 1970s, the De Ville had firmly established itself as Omega's premier dress watch family, characterized by slim profiles, elegant dials, and refined aesthetics. The manual-wind Caliber 625 was heavily utilized by Omega during this era to achieve these slender case designs, earning a reputation as a reliable and compact workhorse movement that perfectly suited the minimalist dress watches of the period.
