It features applied baton indices with black inserts that provide excellent contrast, perfectly matched by the applied Omega logo and a neatly framed date window at the 3 o'clock position. There is no visible spotting, staining, or significant patina across the dial surface. The matching stick hands also feature black inserts and are accompanied by a sweep center seconds hand. These hands present clean surfaces with no visible oxidation or corrosion, perfectly aligning with the dial's remarkable state of preservation. Case and Crystal The stainless steel monocoque, or front-loading, case is well-preserved with strong original lines. The lugs retain sharp edges and defined geometry, displaying only light superficial scratches consistent with careful wear over the decades. A smooth integrated bezel frames the dial, showing similar light surface wear. On the reverse, the caseback features a very crisp and well-defined Seamaster hippocampus medallion.
