Dial and Hands
The exceptionally clean and attractive dial features a bright silver sunburst finish. Applied indices with black inserts are well preserved, complementing the crisp, intact typography. The luminous plots are present and show consistent aging. The silver hands feature black painted centers, which exhibit visible degradation and minor paint loss. The luminous material on the hands displays an age-appropriate patina that coordinates nicely with the dial plots.
Case and Crystal
The stainless steel case is well-preserved with normal signs of use, presenting honest wear with light surface scratches throughout. The lugs retain good shape and definition. The smooth integrated bezel shows light surface scratches consistent with the rest of the case, while the caseback exterior exhibits typical light handling marks. The watch is fitted with a signed Omega crown featuring defined knurling. A clear, domed acrylic crystal protects the dial, showing no major scratches or cracks.
Movement
Inside beats the automatic Omega Caliber 565, a 24-jewel movement equipped with a quickset date function. The copper-colored plating is bright and well-preserved, showing no obvious signs of corrosion or moisture damage. Minor marks are visible on some of the screw heads. Exhibiting remarkable accuracy and consistency, performing brilliantly for a vintage timepiece.
Strap
The watch is fitted with a black leather strap featuring white contrast stitching. It appears to be in near-new condition, providing a handsome complement to the bright silver dial.
Condition
Good vintage condition. Supported by the recorded timegrapher result, the movement is performing very strongly. The stainless steel case and bezel show honest, light surface scratches throughout, though the lugs retain good definition. The silver sunburst dial is exceptionally clean, with crisp printing and well-preserved indices. The hands show some visible degradation and minor paint loss on their black-painted centers. The crystal is clear, and the leather strap is in near-new condition.
