History
The Omega Genève line was introduced in the mid-20th century to pay homage to the brand's workshops in Geneva, representing a standard of precision and elegant design. By the 1970s, the collection had evolved to embrace the bold styling characteristic of the era, frequently utilizing robust tonneau cases and striking brushed dials. The Caliber 1481 is a reliable automatic movement known for its durability and practical date function. This period of Omega's history produced highly wearable, distinctive watches that continue to appeal strongly to modern enthusiasts.
