Case and Crystal
The stainless steel case is well-preserved with strong original geometry, highlighted by a sharp lug profile with well-defined edges. The polished flanks and the smooth, integrated polished bezel display light surface scratches and hairline marks consistent with careful use. The screw-in caseback retains its crisp engraving with minimal wear. A clearly signed Omega crown features well-defined knurled edges. The domed acrylic crystal is clear, showing only minor surface wear and light scratches.
Movement
Powering the watch is the Omega Caliber 1012 automatic movement, featuring a high-beat frequency of 28,800 BPH, an Incabloc shock absorber, a hacking seconds function, and a quickset date. Visually, the movement displays clean copper-toned plating with an intact, clean rotor. There are no obvious signs of corrosion or moisture damage, and the screw heads appear in good condition. Crisp engravings read SWISS, OMEGA, 36733849, and 1012. Recording 1-4s/day. Exhibiting remarkable accuracy and consistency, performing brilliantly for a vintage timepiece.
