The surface exhibits noticeable aging, with visible spotting, dust, and minor debris scattered across the dial. The stainless steel case features a distinctive tonneau or C-shape geometry. The edges remain reasonably defined but show signs of normal, honest wear consistent with age. Moderate scratches and scuffs are visible on the polished flanks. The caseback features the Omega Seamaster Seahorse medallion alongside a WATERPROOF engraving. The knurled crown is signed with the Omega logo, showing moderate wear and softening of the emblem. The domed acrylic crystal exhibits light surface scratches and scuffs visible at certain angles, though no major cracks or deep chips are observed.

Powering the watch is an automatic movement. Timegrapher results show -6-9s/day. Exhibiting remarkable accuracy and consistency, performing brilliantly for a vintage timepiece.

The silver crosshair dial shows noticeable surface aging, spotting, and dust, while the hands exhibit significant oxidation and corrosion. The domed acrylic crystal has light surface scratches. The automatic movement is performing very strongly, supported by the recorded timegrapher results.

History
The Omega Seamaster Cosmic line emerged in the 1960s, introducing a more modern, space-age aesthetic to the traditional Seamaster family. Characterized by its sleek, often single-piece tonneau or C-shape cases, the Cosmic series represented Omega's design evolution during an era fascinated by futuristic styling. These models provided robust daily performance while maintaining the elegance expected of the brand, securing their place as a recognizable and accessible choice for vintage watch enthusiasts.
