The stainless steel tonneau-shaped case is presented in honest vintage condition, featuring a brushed top surface that transitions into polished flanks. The case geometry retains reasonably defined edges, showing light scratches and handling marks consistent with normal wear and age. The movement bridges are engraved with RADO ELECTRONIC, THIRTEEN 13 JEWELS SWISS UNADJUSTED, 9154, and LIC. ATO, confirming its electro-mechanical heritage. A battery is currently present in the movement.

History
During the 1970s, the Swiss watch industry experienced a period of intense innovation as traditional mechanical watchmaking met the dawn of the electronic era. Rado, always a brand willing to push boundaries in both design and technology, embraced this transition with models like the Marstron. Powered by the ESA Dynotron series, a family of movements that utilized a traditional balance wheel driven by electromagnetism rather than a mainspring, these watches represented the cutting edge of transitional horology before quartz technology fully dominated the market. Today, these electro-mechanical pieces are highly valued by collectors for their unique place in watchmaking history and their unapologetically space-age design language.
