The striking red date wheel and remarkably clean sunburst finish make it a compelling choice for enthusiasts of mid-century watchmaking. History The Rado Golden Horse collection debuted in 1957 and was one of the earliest lines marketed under the Rado brand name. This Reference 11743 is equipped with the Rado-signed Caliber 1700/01, a 30-jewel automatic movement. Rado models produced prior to approximately 1965 utilized an 'R' signed crown before transitioning to the anchor logo crown seen on this example, providing useful context for the evolution of the brand.
