The movement displays Omega's signature copper-colored plating and presents a clean appearance with no visible corrosion. The automatic rotor is present, and the caliber is engraved with OMEGA WATCH Co, SWISS, ADJUSTED TWO (2) POSITIONS, TWENTY-FOUR 24 JEWELS, 681, and the serial number 30234944. The material shows moderate wear and creasing, retaining its lovely character as an original pairing to the watch. Condition Excellent vintage condition. The dial and hands are wonderfully preserved and clean, while the stainless steel case shows honest, light surface scratches consistent with normal wear. The domed acrylic crystal displays minor scratches but retains its charming etched logo. The movement is remarkably clean and visually excellent. Dimensions 23 mm (excluding the crown) Remarks This Genève offers a beautiful combination of original details, from the etched crystal to the signed crown and buckle. The pristine silver sunburst dial and robust in-house automatic movement make this a compelling choice for any enthusiast of classic ladies' watches. History The Genève collection was originally introduced in 1953 to honor Omega's chronometer-producing workshops in Geneva. Over the decades, it became an important part of Omega's catalog, offering elegant and reliable timepieces for everyday wear. This specific reference is powered by the Omega Caliber 681, an automatic movement that features 24 jewels and is adjusted to two positions, reflecting the brand's dedication to quality mechanical watchmaking during the c. 1970 era.
