History
The Seiko Lord Matic series was introduced in the late 1960s as a premium watch positioned just below the Grand Seiko and King Seiko tiers. Seiko originally marketed the Lord Matic line to business professionals, highlighting its thin case and practical day and date features. The Seiko caliber 5606 driving this series was produced between 1968 and 1976. Today, Lord Matics featuring faceted crystals and vibrant colored dials are highly appreciated by collectors for their distinct 1970s aesthetic.
