Case and Crystal Measuring 34mm, the case features heavy 80-micron gold plating over a stainless steel caseback. The lugs retain a generally good shape with some softening along their edges. A smooth gold-plated bezel is integrated naturally into the case design, showing scratches consistent with the rest of the exterior. The watch is fitted with a gold-tone knurled crown featuring a flat face and no visible signature. A domed acrylic crystal protects the dial, remaining clear with only minor surface scratches visible under direct light. Movement Inside beats the Omega Caliber 284 manual-wind movement, featuring 17 jewels. The signature copper-colored finish is bright and wonderfully preserved. The plates and bridges remain clean with minimal signs of handling, and the screw heads show very minor wear. Factory engravings, including the Omega name, caliber, and serial number, are clearly visible. Reading +19+20s/day on the timegrapher. Exhibiting remarkable accuracy and consistency, performing brilliantly for a vintage timepiece. Strap The watch is paired with a brown leather strap featuring contrast stitching, which shows light wear. Condition Good vintage condition. The dial shows an attractive, even spotting, and the hands display visible oxidation. The heavy gold-plated case exhibits moderate scratches, some softened lug edges, and visible verdigris at the caseback seam. The movement is remarkably clean and, supported by the timegrapher results, is performing strongly. Dimensions The case measures 34mm (excluding the crown). Remarks This Omega offers a wonderful combination of mid-century dress elegance and robust mechanical performance. The heavy 80-micron gold plating provides excellent warmth, while the beautifully preserved Caliber 284 makes it a rewarding watch to wind and wear. This era was defined by clean dials, applied markers, and elegant dauphine hands, creating an enduring aesthetic that remains highly appreciated today. The Caliber 284 belongs to Omega's celebrated family of manual-wind movements from this period, known for their excellent finishing, reliable architecture, and enduring precision. / Second Vintage SKU: OME-XXX-0029
