    Om denna klocka

Now available at auction from Second Vintage This classic vintage Constellation features a stunning vertically brushed silver dial and the highly regarded C-shape case geometry originally conceived by Gerald Genta. Powered by the chronometer-certified Omega Caliber 1011 movement, it presents a wonderful opportunity to acquire a sharply preserved example of one of Omega's most defining 1970s designs. Brand: Omega Model: Constellation Reference Number: ST 168 0056 Serial Number: 35451456 Movement: Automatic, Omega Caliber 1011, 23 Jewels Dial: Silver vertically brushed with applied indices Case Size: 34 mm (excluding the crown) Case Material: Stainless Steel Production Year: 1972 Condition: Excellent vintage condition. Movement serviced. Timegrapher: -2-4s/day, performing remarkably well. Dial and Hands The exceptionally clean silver dial features a striking vertical brushed finish that catches the light beautifully. It displays crisp applied dial furniture, including the Omega logo, Constellation star, and baton indices with black inserts. The luminous dots at the outer edge of the indices remain intact and match the luminous material on the stick hands. A clean date aperture is positioned at three o'clock. The dial shows no visible spotting, staining, or damage, presenting a highly attractive face. The matching stick hands, featuring black inserts and a sweep seconds hand, show no visible oxidation and remain in excellent condition. Case and Crystal The stainless steel case features the classic C-shape tonneau geometry, characterized by brushed top surfaces and polished flanks. The edges remain reasonably sharp and well-defined, showing light surface scratches consistent with careful use. The polished integrated bezel ring displays light wear that perfectly matches the rest of the case. The watch is fitted with an Omega-signed crown, which shows some wear and a softening of the logo. A domed acrylic crystal protects the dial and remains clear with no major scratches or crazing visible. Movement Inside beats the chronometer-certified automatic Omega Caliber 1011, a 23-jewel movement adjusted to five positions and temperature. The movement displays Omega's typical copper-colored finish and presents a clean appearance with no obvious corrosion or staining. The rotor and bridges look well-preserved. Exhibiting remarkable accuracy and consistency, performing brilliantly for a vintage timepiece. The timegrapher records a rate of -2-4s/day. The movement was serviced. Strap The watch is fitted with a complementary black leather strap featuring contrast stitching. The strap is in good condition and pairs beautifully with the brushed stainless steel case. Condition Excellent vintage condition. The movement was serviced and, supported by the recorded timegrapher result, is performing very strongly. The case is well-preserved, retaining its distinct C-shape lines with only light surface scratches. The dial is stunning, completely free of visible spotting or damage, with all applied elements and luminous plots intact. The hands are equally well-preserved, and the domed acrylic crystal is clear and highly legible. Dimensions The case measures 34 mm (excluding the crown). Remarks This Constellation stands out due to its exceptionally clean vertically brushed dial and crisp applied indices. The combination of the classic C-shape case and the strong mechanical performance of the Caliber 1011 movement makes it a highly compelling timepiece for any enthusiast. History The Omega Constellation line has been a symbol of precision and luxury since its introduction in 1952. By the late 1960s and early 1970s, the collection evolved to include the distinctive C-shape case, bringing a modern aesthetic to the lineup while maintaining strict chronometer-certified standards. The Caliber 1011, introduced during this era, is recognized by collectors as a robust and highly accurate automatic movement, representing Omega's dedication to reliable timekeeping during a significant period of watchmaking design.
