Dial and Hands
The dial features a silver sunburst finish complemented by applied indices with black inserts, ensuring the text and minute track remain fully legible. It displays significant localized staining and patina, with noticeable brown spotting along the bottom edge and the right side near the three to five o'clock positions. The matching stick hands also feature black inserts and are well-preserved, showing only minor signs of aging with light surface oxidation and dust visible under magnification.
Case and Crystal
The stainless steel case features a distinctive square, cushion-shaped profile with brushed top surfaces transitioning into polished flanks. Exhibiting honest wear consistent with age and retaining its original geometry, the case shows moderate scratches and light handling marks throughout, while the edges remain reasonably defined. The caseback exterior displays typical surface scratches. On the right side, the watch is fitted with a clearly signed Omega crown featuring a knurled profile. The domed acrylic crystal is clear, showing some light surface scratches visible at certain angles, but no major cracks or chips are observed.
Movement
Inside the case beats the copper-colored Omega caliber 1012, a high-beat automatic movement operating at 28,800 vibrations per hour. The movement maintains a generally clean appearance, showing minor surface scratches on the plates and rotor, with no severe corrosion or heavy oxidation visible. The caliber is clearly engraved with the Omega signature, caliber number, and serial number 37700728. Exhibiting remarkable accuracy and consistency, performing brilliantly for a vintage timepiece. The timegrapher recorded a rate of +11+15s/day.
Strap
The watch is fitted with an attractive period correct stainless steel brick-link style bracelet. The endlinks are stamped '18 M/M', and the links and clasp show moderate surface scratches consistent with normal wear. The clasp exterior does not show a clear signature. The bracelet accommodates a maximum wrist size of 19.5cm.
Condition
Good vintage condition. The dial exhibits noticeable localized staining along the edges, while the case retains its appealing 1970s geometry alongside moderate scratches and light handling marks. The hands and crystal show minor signs of aging and light surface wear. The movement is well-preserved and, supported by the recorded timegrapher result, is performing very strongly.
Dimensions
The case measures 32 mm in diameter, excluding the crown.

History
The Omega Genève reference ST 162.0052 was introduced into the international collection in 1973. Characterized by its softly squared "TV case" design, it perfectly reflects the shifting aesthetic preferences of the 1970s. The Genève line was produced in large quantities as Omega's entry-level collection, offering reliable mechanical performance in a variety of case shapes. This specific reference is powered by the in-house Omega caliber 1012, an advanced automatic movement for the period featuring a quickset date, 23 jewels, and a high-beat frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour.
