A classic 1950s Omega Automatic with a striking crosshair dial, this 1958 timepiece features an exceptionally well-preserved dial configuration and a heavy 80-micron gold-plated case.

Dial and Hands
The exceptionally well-preserved silver and cream-tone dial features an attractive crosshair design. It is very clean overall, showing minimal signs of aging or spotting. Applied faceted gold-tone indices and an applied Omega logo complete the layout. The original dauphine-style hands display distinct age-related wear, with significant oxidation and tarnish visible on their surfaces.
Case and Crystal
The 35 mm gold-plated case features a smooth integrated bezel and a substantial lug profile. Stamped internally for a heavy 80-micron gold plating, the case displays honest vintage wear, including visible scratches and handling marks throughout, with the lugs showing moderate wear while retaining their general shape. The scalloped Omega-signed crown shows some wear and dirt accumulation in its recesses. The domed acrylic crystal is clear, with no major scratches, cracks, or crazing visible. The gold-plated caseback exterior exhibits notable patina, including tarnish and oxidation spots.
Movement
Powering the watch is the automatic Omega Caliber 501, a 20-jewel movement cleanly engraved with OMEGA WATCH Co SWISS and the serial number 16242564. The copper-colored plating remains bright and well-preserved, with clean bridges and a clean rotor, alongside minor marks on some screw heads. Timegrapher results indicate +4+6s/day. Strap
The watch is fitted with a high-quality black leather strap featuring white contrast stitching. It appears to be in very good, lightly used condition.
Condition
