History
The De Ville line began its life as part of the Seamaster collection before Omega established it as a standalone family in 1967. Designed to offer a more refined and urban aesthetic compared to the robust Seamaster and Speedmaster tool watches, the De Ville quickly became celebrated for its elegant proportions and styling. During the 1970s, Omega equipped these models with reliable automatic movements like the Caliber 1002, ensuring that the elegant exterior was matched by robust mechanical performance. Today, these early standalone De Ville models represent a highly appealing era of Omega design.
