History
During the 1970s, the watch industry embraced new geometric forms and integrated bracelet designs, creating a distinct visual language that remains highly appreciated by collectors today. Longines, a manufacturer with a profound heritage of precision timekeeping, adapted to this era by producing elegant, slim profile watches powered by reliable manual wind calibers like the L 847 series. These timepieces reflect a transitional period in watchmaking design, offering a sleek, unified look on the wrist reflecting the aesthetic sensibilities of the decade.
