The Lord Matic line was positioned just below King Seiko and Grand Seiko, offering exceptional build quality and advanced movements in a variety of avant-garde and classic designs. This particular example stands out with its bold geometry and dynamic dial, capturing the confident aesthetic of the era. The dial text, including the applied Seiko and LM logos, remains crisp. Close inspection reveals some wear and degradation along the dial edges, particularly visible near the corners, as well as some light marking and dust beneath the crystal. The hands show some age-consistent oxidation but retain their strong visual presence. Case and Crystal The 34mm stainless steel square case is a standout feature, exhibiting sharp geometry with a broad, brushed front bezel and sharply angled, polished flanks. The transition between the brushed and polished surfaces remains well-defined, indicating good preservation of the factory finish. The case shows normal, honest signs of wear, including light surface scratches and scuffs consistent with its age, but no major dings or deep impacts. The caseback is clearly engraved with the reference 5606-5080 and serial number 380259. Strap The watch is fitted with an original Seiko LM stainless steel bracelet, featuring a folded-link design and a signed clasp.
