Dial and Hands
The striking and well-preserved dial features a beautiful blue gradient vignette finish that deepens toward the outer edges. Applied faceted indices with white inserts provide excellent legibility, harmonizing with the applied 'M' logo and the printed 'Mannheim' script. At the top of the dial sits the signature rotating Rado anchor logo. The surface remains exceptionally clean, presenting no significant visible flaws. The matching baton style hands feature corresponding white inserts and are accompanied by a sweep center seconds hand. These hands retain a clean finish, displaying only minimal signs of oxidation.
Case and Crystal
The stainless steel cushion case displays honest vintage wear, characterized by brushed top surfaces that transition into polished flanks. The geometry remains intact, with edges that are reasonably defined despite moderate surface scratches and handling marks consistent with its age. The blue gradient dial is exceptionally well-preserved, showing no significant flaws, while the hands display only minimal signs of oxidation. The domed acrylic crystal bears light surface scratches and minor dust.
